Hannah Romanowsky is an internationally renowned performing artist, teacher, and choreographer with over 20 years of experience in the international dances and wedding dances from around the world. Founder of both the DanceVersity multicultural arts education program and the Scheherazade School of Dance, Hannah is in high demand throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for her expertise in world dance traditions.
Ms. Romanowsky specialties include dances from India, China, Mexico, Cuba, Iran, the Middle East, Spain, and Latin America. She also teaches all the traditional wedding and partner dances of the U.S., waltz, tango, salsa, swing, country line dances. She is very skilled in combining dance styles to make your wedding dance celebration truly reflect the union of you and your partner and your family heritages. Ms. Romanowsky performs frequently at international weddings and has been a featured artist at some of the most prestigious venues in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, including the Asian Art museum, de Young museum, Legion of Honor, multiple appearances in the Ethnic Dance Festival at the Palace of Fine Arts, as well as the Houston Museum of Modern Art, the British Museum in London, and international arts festivals in Asia and Europe. Hannah has also performed for Google, FaceBook, Benefit Cosmetics, Oracle, Salesforce, Lawrence Livermore Labs, Oakland Ballet, the Marin Symphony, as well as for numerous wineries, charities, fundraisers, academic institutions and private events. |
